Re-ignite the Joy of Learning in your Classroom
We are seeking teachers eager to re-imagine what is possible in a learner centered classroom, are passionate about equal access to deeper learning, ready to try a new type of learning experience, and commit to fully participate in the Breakaway workshop series.
Leave this workshop with a new toolkit and process to:
feel inspired and creativity in your practice
integrate human centered design mindsets into your practice.
turn your curriculum into real world, problem-solving exercises that are relevant and meaningful to your students.
apply the “hack-design process” in your classroom to accelerate equitable deeper learning outcomes
use Empathy-Mapping-for-Equity to engage and design for students furthest from opportunity
nurture hard-to-teach- skills like collaboration, creativity, critical thinking, and communication.
