KairosPDX is an education program that addresses Portland’s persistent achievement gap for students of color through innovative, solution-focused teaching methods, community collaboration, and family partnership.

Construct helped launch the KairosPDX learning academy with general operating funds to support the school’s three critical elements:

  1. A dynamic leadership team uniquely suited to serve the multicultural student body

  2. Mutually reinforcing programs including, an early learning network, a family connections program, and the K-5 Learning academy

  3. A combination of the progressive pedagogy of Reggio Emila and the education philosophies of Lisa Delpit, and Howard Gardner
